The institute is one of the premier and oldest teacher training colleges in West Bengal currently running two year D.El.Ed. Programme under West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE)

D. El. Ed Course

D. El. Ed is a Diploma course in Elementary Education. It is a 2-year full-time diploma course to train teachers for the primary level and can be done with classroom training or distance learning. It is a 2 years course to prepare students to work in primary/ upper primary schools.

B. Ed Course

Bachelors of Education, popularly referred as B. Ed., is a two-year full-time degree course that is essential for candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and other related fields. B.Ed is mandatory for all those who want to teach in primary and secondary schools.
